Lots of talk and opinions about this illness. Here is a great link to answer your questions and perhaps calm your fears.

Amazing Grace - Precious..

Favorite Quote

I came across this quote the other day while reading my scrap book Grandma made about my life. You know those childhood memories.. How cool is that? I miss her - she always had this way of making me feel better and found the good in me regardless of how I was feeling that day. She left a huge impact on my life that continues to follow me in all I do. I couldn't run from it if I wanted to because she is always there, front and center. How many people have that?

The best part of a person's life is not his fame, wealth or ability. The best part of a good person's life is the little nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love given to others. You are respected and remembered for the good you do for others.

SNOW

It's back! Couldn't believe it, I got up this morning to take Robert to work and it was SNOWING! I thought I was dreaming. It kept on and now I can look outside and see a winter wonderland. Cherry bloosoms covered with snow. I keep thinking of planting herbs in my pots on the deck - I'm thinking if I wait until the end of May I should be ok. Crazy weather... So now when I hear all this global warming nonsense I really laugh!

Been Busy

The sun is shinning again in Colorado. I feel much better when the sun is out. Not long ago Blake announced that he wanted a new bed. He had one that Robert built, it was neat like a bunk bed and the underneath was his personal cave. Anyways he got tired of sleeping high up and wanted something lower, even though it meant giving up his cave. So this last weekend I went searching on craigslist. I found the best deal. I got him a oak headboard, captains bed, with new mattress and cupboard for $250 - solid oak -couldn't believe it. What a deal! His room is all set up now and it looks pretty awesome; he's one happy kid. The funny part was me trying to help Robert get the bed upstairs. I thought we could take it apart - NOT! God is good though - he saw me struggling and sent 3 people to my rescue to help Robert. I guess I'm not as strong as I thought I was.

Snow

It snowed all day yesterday- so strange for April. What a slushy mess so we just hibernated. Looks like today the sun is going to burst through- the roads are already clear and the snow is evaporating away. Snow doesn't melt in Colorado it evaporates, seriously. I do love it when the sun shines it feels great!

Denver Tax Day Tea Party!

Our first protest ever and it was Awesome! I was impressed by the heart of the people who turned out, it was a mix of all generations coming together. What a proud day to be an American and how Great for Felecia and Blake to experience a peaceful protest. History was made and this is just the beginning.

This protest wasn't about parties, it was about principle and future generations. Many can agree that both parties have let this Country and the American people down. The spending is out of control and it's time to take a stand.

Look at how many showed up at the Alamo:

Awesome Susan Boyle

One should never judge a person by their appearance. The heart and truth of every being is within. The bible says it and this is a great example - Gods doesn't care about your appearance but he does care about your heart - he feels it deeeper than you could ever - he created it! This lady is Amazing!

A Bucket List..

I'm sure everybody has a list of things they want to do. For some reason I've been thinking about what I want to do with my life and things that I would like to experience. I guess this would be my bucket list.

  1. Homeschool Graduate both kiddos
  2. Family Vacation in a warm place where we can swim w/dolphins
  3. Take Art Classes and do something with it
  4. Start a fresh flower biz from home
  5. Live in Idaho in the country in an actual green house
  6. Write and publish - to many topics to list
  7. Play the piano
  8. Attend the Crystal Cathedral just once
  9. Continue to grow my relationship with God through Christ..
  10. Most importantly be thankful for everything..

Isn't she lovely...

Sometimes she wakes up a little groggy and tired looking but we still love her!

Hannah Montana Movie

Felecia wanted to go see this movie so I was happy to tag along. She started watching the show in the beginning and even though she is growing up she didn't care what anyone thought - she still wanted to see it. Which I thought was pretty neat, I love that about her! It was really good and we both recommend it.

Easter

A Great Easter day - despite the weather. After breakfast we headed off to church. The service was excellent. Felt good to embrace the message and let it reflect off my life.

Walking..

Beautiful weather today, so the kids, Lucky and I ventured outdoors for a walk. It felt great to get outside. Lucky found a quicker path to Cherry Creek and she had a blast in the water. Course Blake couldn't resist the water so he took his shoes and socks off and joined her. Was really nice to get out and just enjoy time with the kids in a different element.

Inspired

Today we had a nice surprise.. Back in January we had a couple of Pigeons decide to make their home on our deck. At first it was really neat then it became a big mess. They're not very good nest builders either.

This morning she layed 2 eggs. She just left them alone and it concerned us so the kids and I went and put a towel underneath, added her sticks then placed the eggs on top. After that she must of been happy because she decided to care for eggs instead of looking at the them. Or maybe she just liked that warm towel to nest on.

I kepted checking on her today and thought how awesome mother nature is. God truely is amazing with all his creations. I was able to find a bit of sunshine watching her and it felt good.

This inspired me and I got the ball rolling on my art idea. I decided to do a website instead of a blog. It will contain my art from way back and what I'm currently working on. Right now I'm messing around with the website trying to get a feel for what I want it to look like. Hope to have it done in the next couple of weeks or at least by the end of April.

I named it "Carole Dianne Galleries" I'm excited about it and look forward to sharing it once it's ready. Will be a good thing to share this God given talent with others. Kind of like the little simplicity that he shared with me today while I watch our pigeon care for her eggs.

Inspiration is all around us if we choose to let it inspire us..

When I get a chance I'll post pictures of our pigeons - their not pets just visitors who have added a bit of joy to our lives..
