The Look - Out!

I just thought this dead branch looked neat.

There are Elk on the other side of the pond.

Love this - it's even prettier when it snows.

More beauty..

Good picture of Robert -wish he didn't have that hat on ..

Walking on the Rope

We were out in Golden today and as we were walking back to the car we saw this guy rope walking. Was fun to watch and couldn't help but take a picture.

Burt Ford on Arapahoe

Last saturday Robert and I went out for coffee and afterwards thought we would take a stroll through the Ford lot. We've been talking about getting another car for awhile but we weren't sure, wanted to buy american but not from a bail out company. So that took us to Burt Ford on Arapahoe. I thought we were just looking and really didn't think we would drive away with one. Our sales person Doc - great guy not pushy at all and really listened to us. We purchased this Mercury, Mountaineer - very nice and it has so many gadgets it will take me forever to figure it all out. Robert said I deserved it- what a guy. It was a nice surprise and everyone is loving it.

Red, White and Pink Slip Blues.. Hank Williams Jr.

This is good - a glimpse of what our government is doing this country. The Corruption has been going on for to long - both parties are responsible and it's time the people hold them accountable. Truely if you think the government is going to take care of you - you're a fool... Better yet - Why would anyone want the government to take care of them?

Jewelry Of Pottery

We went to a street art fair last weekend and came across this pottery. It's amazing! He calls it Crystalline Porcelain - when you hold it in the light it sparkles. Was very taken with it and hope to see him again next month as I would like to get a vase. Fresh flowers would look fantastic in a vase like this. Very nice couple too!

Anyways his website is: www.JewelryOfPottery.com

4H Project

Felecia working on her 4H project. She created the pattern in art and then started applying it. She won't let me post the finished project until after she enters it in fair. She really likes 4H. Blake wasn't to excited about this year - he said it reminds him of school. Guess maybe we over do school a little? Course how can you ever over do learning?

4H Tires Them Out..

A morning of volunteering @ family first. We were blocked in waiting to leave and the kids were so ready to go. We planted flowers to help make their grounds look colorful. Was a good thing even though it tired them out some. Blake just wasn't into it at all, which is fine his week is pretty packed with karate and everything else.. Felecia on the other hand is a 4H nut, she's hoping to find another group or maybe county to be apart of next season. She decides and I just get them there.

Driftwood Horses

The pictures speak for themselves.. Made of driftwood.. now this is what they should of put out at the airport in Colorado instead of the freaky blue horse with glowing eyes.

Flower Pots

Today Blake and I decided to do some planting. 3 empty pots got some color and seeds added to them today. He tells me later he only helped me because he had nothing else better to do. He's been fighting a flu bug and I think he is antsy to feel better.

Anyways we planted some basil, green onions, lettuce, and jalapeno peppers. Then of course we added in some pretty flowers for color. Will be fun to see what transpires. My mom is suppose to head down in a couple weeks so she might be happy to know that I'm not a total dead beat.

Gardening without a yard just isn't that fun though. That is one thing I miss - gardening is a great stress reliever. I miss my Everett garden and really miss my Herb garden in Texas. Good times.. Not sure if we'll buy a house in Colorado - we talk about it but I'm just not to crazy about the idea. Really looking forward to when we get to Idaho and would rather focus on that. Time will tell, maybe I would feel different if we could find something we actually liked. Our life is so busy right now I'm not even sure when we would find time for a yard.

Getting a little off track I guess- Planting the flower pots today was a good thing.. Our neighbor the pigeon - she's still hanging around we didn't seem to bother her at all. Her first 2 eggs were duds and now she has another one she is nurturing. The kids pet her the other day - what a tame pigeon. The male isn't he is a paranoid freak.

Lots of life on our deck that keeps our life and our pets entertained. It's a simple life for a simple family..

American Idol

I haven't watch much this year. The new judge tuned me out, I don't know what it is about her but I just don't think she adds anything to the show. I prefer an odd number or maybe they could of chosen someone with a personality.

I did watch Tuesday night for 10 minutes and I think this show has run its course. The talent for me was just "OK" The guy with the black hair - well I know everybody thinks he is amazing - to high pitched for me and I couldn't imagine listening to a complete CD.

My all time favorite American Idol contestants would be, Kelly Clarkson, Elliot Yamin, Kelly Pickler, Mandisa, David Cook and Chris D. The rest just seem to fade away or appear rather trendy.

I'm sure the show will be around for awhile - I just think they need to add some spice to it. Maybe change the age levels or something. I don't know, but definately get rid of judge #4. She over acts and just doesn't fit.

The 5000 Year Leap

This is really good - brings tears to my eyes. The history of this country is so overlooked and honestly the future scares me.

National Day of Prayer 2009

Don't forget it - Our Country NEEDS Prayer and God's guidance in every step.

Spring into Summer

Isn't this a perfect description of spring? A facebook friend had taken some awesome pictures and I loved this one. I really like how the tree is whisping in the background - looks like a misted fern or something. Theres only a few more weeks of Spring and then we roll into Summer.. I can hardly wait! I really do prefer the warmer weather, it just feels good..
